OpisYou wake on the shoreline with no name, no past, and no memory of ever coming here. Only one thing feels certain: this has happened before. Across the island, the remains of Cobalt Corporation continue operating as if their personnel never truly left. Scientists patrol restricted zones, automated weapons defend abandoned facilities, and sealed laboratories contain experiments that seem less like research and more like containment. Old documents refer to the island only as a controlled site and repeatedly mention something called the Reset Protocol. Every month, without exception, the protocol activates. Structures vanish, stockpiles disappear, resources return, and the island is restored to a predetermined state. Survivors awaken again along the coast with their memories stripped away, believing they have arrived for the first time. Cobalt called the memory loss a necessary side effect. Other records suggest it was the entire purpose. Something on this island cannot be allowed to remember, and Cobalt may no longer know whether that something is buried beneath the monuments, locked inside their laboratories, or walking the beaches with a rock and torch in its hands. Lately, however, the Reset has begun to fail. You remember flashes of places you have never visited, deaths you have never suffered, and a voice over an emergency frequency repeating the same warning before the signal cuts out: when the next wipe comes, do not let them make you forget again.,
